Honestly, we aren’t sure if the SoulGeek dating app is easy to use because the website is so slow and flat-out unresponsive at times we could barely make our way around the platform before throwing in the towel.
That being said, when it was responsive, it was not hard to navigate, but it is extremely outdated (this is on purpose—it’s meant to mimic MySpace) and cluttered. We didn’t hate it, but we don’t exactly love it, which is why we gave it a 2 out of 5.

We don’t know if SoulGeek’s servers were having problems on the days we were checking it out or if it’s just how it functions, but it’s a problem. If you don’t want to wait two minutes for a page to load, which is not irrational, we don’t think you’ll dig this platform, geek or normie.
No Mobile App
As we said above, the website is very slow and unresponsive, and since there is no dedicated mobile app, users have no choice but to navigate the platform on a computer or on a mobile browser. No bueno, in our opinion.
Smaller Dating Pool
While we don’t have an exact number of members, SoulGeek is a niche gamer dating app, meaning it will have a smaller pool of users, which may turn off those looking for a bigger base of potential matches.

Because SoulGeek doesn’t verify identities, users report that there are fake profiles on the platform, but take that with a grain of salt—that’s basically the case on almost every dating app.

As per usual, we signed up and created a dating profile for our complete review of the SoulGeek dating app. Now, it would’ve taken us about 5 minutes if the website wasn’t extremely slow—we are talking molasses slow. The pages took forever to load, so that was a little bit frustrating, and it took about 30 minutes.
Since there is no dedicated mobile app, we registered and created a dating profile on an iOS mobile browser.
